Just listened to Further at Bojangles Coliseum 2/10/10
The band seems to be settling into overdrive.
Every time I hear "Here Comes Sunshine" I get a pang in my heart and tears of joy begin to flow.
Can somebody recommend a few shows with outstanding Here Comes Sunshine???
It seems that whoever is at the soundboard takes awhile to get it all in focus.
Dan Healy had all the venues pretty well mapped out, they ran CAD programs to get the sound of the room just right
I wonder if the current people at the sound board have access to that information.
Who is at the board these days????????

Tampa 12/19/73, released as Dick's Picks vol. 1, contains an absolutely extraordinary version of this song with a truly monstrous jam.

This is my favorite as well. The buildups are simply unbelievable. Too bad some of the later dick's picks didn't live up to that incredible standard.

I agree with those that mention 12/19/73. That's my personal fave. Here's a few more suggestions.

I like 2-15-73 better than the DP 12-19

and did I really see someone say their favorite was a 93 one?

yeah, i did a spit-take when I saw that. i mean, i'm one of those who actually like '93, but it ain't because of HCS, that's for sure.
